Be careful, there are two different places to stay, the pass (2252m) being in the middle

• l'hôtel-restaurant du Sanetsch
• l'auberge du Sanetsch near the dam.

We advice l'hotel-restaurant du Sanetsch. A new boss is coming this year and he offers not only rooms but also dormitories.
L'hotel du Sanetsch (2050m) is in the south side of the pass. Very good when coming by car from Wallis, or by foot from Audannes. When arriving from bern side, you have to continue until the pass. Hotel is just a little below the col. The pass is on the path for Audannes or Arpelistock.

Other possibilities (if coming by car)

If you are starting your tour from north side and have to sleep the night before, you can also sleep in Gsteig or nearby.

If you come by car from south side (Wallis) and have to sleep there the night before, you can sleep down in Sion or about, or on the road to the pass :
Plan Cernet - 1350 m.
Chalet Roten - 1500 m.
