Variant 1: Starting from Iffigenalp, with a night in Wildstrubelhütte.
1st day.
Follow up the Rawyl Pass path (2429 m). This way is less laborious than you could have thought because it's a comfortable path and you can take advantage of the morning coolness. After 2 hours, you arrive to Stiereläger and to the junction to Wildstrubelhütte, 2280m. Take the left way and follow up until the 3 lakes (Rawylseeleni), (2490 m). Go on the left of the medium lake and follow the footpath which climbs across gravel fields and rocks to the hut (2791 m). If it's fine weather, on evening you can see the most beautiful sunset of your life.
Up 1200 meters, 4 h.
2nd day
Go down on same way as yesterday until a little above the 3 lakes where you go on the left and you cross the moraines. Go down the small valley and cross on the right among lapiaz barriers until the Rawyl Pass. From there, follow the route described in Step 3 until cabane des Audannes.
Up 700 meters, down 1000 meters, 5 hours.
